EP Renewal Processing time

Post by yes007 » Fri, 27 Dec 2019 5:16 pm

Hello Reader,
My EP was submitted for a renewal on 20-Nov-2019. And it's not yet renewed. It's more than one month. They came back asking a few documents which were submitted on 10-Dec-2019. But it still shows "Pending".

Validity of my current pass will expire on 08-Jan-2020.
Please suggest if it takes this much time usually.

Regards

Suggest what?

1) continue to wait patiently until it’s approved; and
2) prepare a Plan B in the event that it’s rejected.

Maybe your company has too many EP holders and is under MOM’s watchlist or maybe while you’ve been approved in the past but now MOM is re-looking at your credentials, both educational and professional, to establish if they’re genuine. Only MOM knows. If in doubt, refer to the points above, in numerical order.

Thanks for the view. I am just afraid as 08-Jan is the last date.
I think waiting patiently is the right way to handle it now.
