Re: Should register marriage first or apply for LTVP first

You can still get married to each other in any country where you can legally get married. Singapore's government can't stop that and doesn't try. However, Singapore's government has informed you that you'll have to find another country that'll take you both in if you want to live together in the sa...

Re: WP>LTVP, SP>LTVP

Hello, hope the below replies help clarify your queries. Assuming the situation being that MOM had given their approval for the marriage, is it a must or it is recommended that we go for the LTVP? Is it LTVP gives higher chances when applying for PR? Then if managed to change to a SP holder job duri...

S Pass application

Hi all. I have secured a job in Singapore, currently waiting for my company to apply for my S-pass. However, I am concerned that the pass would be rejected because the very last time I entered Singapore, I was being told by the IO that I could only stay for a period of 3 days and for me to be able t...

Re: Can I be employed in SG and be on HK work/study/entrepreneur visa?

Chances of getting PR in SG, when you are posted overseas is going to be very slim. Between, are you collecting PR's ? Why do you want to be a PR of both countries? I'll be mostly in Singapore for the time being. And can rent flats in both places. The reason behind SG PR is because there's a chance...

I'm currently based in the UK. My employer is sending me to Singapore for four months this year and will be organi...

Re: How to plan the long term (PR?)

Dears, a lot has happened since I have first asked for ISP advise when I got here almost three years ago. Nowadays I'm happily married with my Singaporean Chinese wife and we are expecting our first baby - and I could not be any happier! Of course with family in mind, one starts to think about the ...

Stateless 28years old guy (and his 2 sisters)

(Long texts warning) Hi all, depends on how you view it, I'm in and not in trouble right now. I'm 28yr old Chinese male, born and raised in Singapore. I have 2 younger sisters, 23 and 27yr old, born and raised in Singapore too. My father is a Singaporean, mother is a Malaysian. We have all been work...

Re: Stateless person PR renewal

Interesting. I learned something about 'for sale' passports and the fact that Tonga is no longer issuing them. I think, at this juncture, you are going to have to make a trip down to ICA along with your mother and all the relevant documents and ask to see an officer (not just a front line clerk) in ...

Re: Pr application prospects

I don't think it sounds very good at all. You were here in 2015 for only a year and half, and then you left. The reason doesn't matter, you didn't have any staying power. You left. What's that say about your desire to be permanently in Singapore? And now, barely more than 6 months into your second E...

Re: Info on going to JB for my wife

It is better to stay in Singapore and only go to JB once LTSVP is approved and formalities is done (card is collected) as this will be an assurance for re entry in Singapore. The extension will be void when the white card is collected at the customs/immig once she will leave Singapore. If you insist...
