Razor products - not built to last

Post by abbby » Tue, 09 Jan 2024 4:10 pm

Was rather disappointed as I thought supporting a local brand. Bought their keyboard 6 months ago and now it's spoilt. Many keys are not functioning. I used Logitech keyboard for 10 years and never had a problem. This will be the first and the last of Razor for me...

Had the opposite experience. Bought a Logitech iPad case with built in Bluetooth keyboard thinking I would use it as a portable computer but the damn thing stopped working in a little over a year. Cost something like $200+ but still went for it as it seemed more protective than the Apple Magic Keyboard and was cheaper as well.

Computer peripheral brand, Razor. Cuts you deep like their product.

Gamer products tend to be built cheaply and heavily gamer taxed.

I tend to go for audio company products rather than 'gamer' brands where sound is concerned (i.e. JBL / Makie / Rode rather than Razor and the like).

Specifically computer products can be problematic but my Keychron keyboard is significantly better than a comparably priced Razor one (around $150), for example.
Without dialogues, if you tell them you want something real bad, you will get it real bad.

Yup, learned the hard way too. Gamer products are over rated and over priced.
