ok, been offered a job in Sing and what I really want to know is, is the package I am being offered enough to live well......!!
They are offering me USD 100000pa before tax of course inclusive of housing allowance etc. There will be significant bonus provided I do well of course!!
I'm a guy, 32 and single. So, is this a good deal??
thoughts and comments appreciated......

Sounds like a good salary to me. But you don't say what the job is. You can expect to work very hard for that kind of bread.
Being single is the key. Having dependents makes every thing more expensive and gives you a lot more to consider when making a decision.

The average household income in Singapore is S$6,280 per month so you should be ok on $100k pa.

Hi P Mover the income you are offered is fine, my wife and I live on less then that and we travel, scuba dive, ski/snowboard go out occassionally. It will all depend on what you do with your income. Eating out in european/american style can be bloody expensive, even the cost of eating in can be expensive if you only eat western foods. But it all depends on your lifestyle. A single man like yourself can have a ball here if your company allows you some time off to actually spend your money.

If you're working and on PEP, yes you can apply for PR. Doesn't mean you'll get it though. That still depends on lots of factors.
