Job Impact need advise

Dear guys
I am on EP in singapore now. I expect my job might be impacted soon probably by December 2023 as the company is downsizing the employees. My question is below and i appreciate your replies and advise

1. If I amply for a PEP (Personal Employment Pass) and assuming i get my PEP approved. After getting my PEP can i apply for Singapore PR.

If you're working and on PEP, yes you can apply for PR. Doesn't mean you'll get it though. That still depends on lots of factors.
