Really hate the flying ones they just come right at you from the balconies. Anyone has a good prevention method to ward them off?

My first rental here was a common room rental on the 4th floor of an HDB and rubbish collection was directly downstairs from my window… so you can imagine how many flying cockroaches I had to deal with. I honestly have a bit of phobia today, and googling it I see I’m not the only one with katsaridaphobia. Just the thought of them gives me the heebie jeebies.
I think the only real solution to stopping them is to screen-in your balcony. Screened-in porches are common in the Midwest where you’ve got a plethora of flying pests.

Same here. Luckily my husband has no reaction and is agile enough to deal with them swiftly. When he goes out of town for business, that's when I worry. My daughter is even more afraid than I am, so together we're defenseless!

Yeah, but the racquet will keep your form up to snuff for the next court date.

But I reckon if you are swatting in the late evening and it has a good charge it would be kool watching them crash in flames like kamikaze planes from WWII.
