Fasting already over and why you still start ur game only at 4pm ?
Last time you start at 2pm, sometimes even earlier? Ur wife impose curfew on you arh?

too hot now a days... thats why at 4pm.

Hi there, a couple friends and I are interested in playing some beach vball at Tanjong on Saturday. We've played indoor and beach before. Is it OK for outsiders to join your group? Also are there any nets permanently set-up on Sentosa?

Hi,

Its ok to join, sms me at 98559264 for further info.

Permanent nets are setup at siloso beach and they are available on first come first serve basis, but people usually hog onto them.

Those who play at Tanjong beach usually have their own portable courts and nets.

Game this 16th oct saturday 4pm. if weather is not so hot then it will be at 3pm

@ Tanjong beach Sentosa.

if cloudy we start by 3pm if sunny and hot then its 4pm.

lately there been so much talk about rules so decided to post this for the benefit of everyone.

1) FIVB rules doesn't apply when more than 2 players a side are playing

2) Volleyball usa has rulebook for games which involve more than 2 players a side.

3) Rules can be checked here and most of you will realise the mistakes you do like dinking the ball etc. For me i sometime take first ball with fingers which is fault, but it should have been palmed

so its better to concentrate on game basics in developing your overall game rather than focus on rules.

remember half knowledge is worse than having no knowledge.

newly arrived in SG, was looking for beach vb info when I found this thread. Sorry I missed today's game, will definitely join next Saturday if i'm in town.
