Hi
My partner is employed with a bank, and we've just arrived in Singapore. I'm currently at a bit of a loss as to what to do with my time, and having my own income is important to me.
I have a BA with Honours from a prestigous Australian University, and am currently undertaking a Masters in Art Curatorship in Australia though deferred my study to follow my boy and see what happens. I'm open to any kind of work (though obviously work in a gallery or similar would be amazing!) - have worked in fashion retail for 3+ years and also hospitality, but obviously I am concerned about not having the relevant visa(s)!
Any suggestions from anyone to help me out? I know Singapore doesn't owe me anything, but I'm trying to make this arrangement work and would love any ideas.
Cheers

If you are married then you can request the employer of your spouse to apply for Dependant Visa for you.Elle5 wrote:Hi

Once it is approved you can stay in SG till his Employment Pass is valid. While being on DP, you can search for jobs and if you find any, your employer can just apply for a Letter of Consent from MOM and using that you can work here.
Other Option is when you find a job in SG your employer can apply for EP for you.
Search for Dependant pass on this forum and browse through the threads for a start
Good Luck !
