Why but. Why are chances zero.
I’m trying to work out how many times they do random testing. There is not much on the news about it

Because the don't DO random drug testing. Years ago, there were a couple of possible exceptions. For example, you were a citizen, PR, or maybe EP/DP, you flew in from Thailand completely stoned and stinking of pot, you might get pulled aside. This was going through customs, not catching another flight.Jim edwards wrote:Why but. Why are chances zero.

These days, Changi is no different than any other airport, and it's much much better than some in minimizing any kind of intrusive searches.
I don't know what you think you heard about flying into Singapore but it's bullshit.
Re: Random drug testing at Singapore airport
Sounds like good marketing by Sg to keep druggies out.

Mate, put down the bong and re-enter reality. For that kind of sleaze customs behavior, there are lots of countries you should be more worried about, and the United States is pretty close to the top of the list for pointlessly detaining people.Jim edwards wrote:I’m imagining immigration army types cruising around and testing people

Or Australia... except you know what they will be looking for? Mud... on your shoes... they are dead serious about keeping foreign plants and animals out of Australia.

No, we don't delete posts and even if you delete your account the posts will still remain. It's just the way it is. Otherwise, this forum of information would become useless and all those who took the time to respond will be just wasting their time as we are constantly trying to pay it forward.Jim edwards wrote:Is it possible to delete this post ? You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools

Re: Random drug testing at Singapore airport
The only thing I would recommend readers of this post to be wary of is pre-employment drug tests in Singapore. I know a few expats who have had to hurriedly postpone a medical when they have discovered the employment medical includes a urine test. That would be an issue for sure.
