yea, babyevil, the qns u asked, im concerned abt tt as well. so which nose job can last longer? with less risk n complications.
babyevil, yes i hv read the many past entires of the forum tt says the Dr S. fr yanhee hospital is exceedingly conservative... sigh* im a student, so i hv a tight budget. so how much does a relatively gd n safe nose job cost in taiwan?

i was wondering whether is it wise to do a PS surgery in Taiwan on my eyes to make my natural double-eyelid more prominent, n defined?
Any comments???
my double eyelid can be seen, its not the "nei suang"(inner double eye-lid)...but i like those big round defined eyes...u know..like Dawn yang, the famous blogger..Not her nose thou, it seems too perfectly-artificial:(
any advice or experience to share?? or is my expectation too unfounded n unrealistic?

dun get carried away. exam more impt. nose research can do later after exam since ur budget is limited, i dun think u can go within this few months. relac n study. come back only after exam... this website wont ran away
Dr Sukit is very conservative but Dr greechart is not. u can consider greechart for more extensive and risky surgery.
for a nose job at taiwan it cost sgd1300-2500. top it off with eyelid surgery, u can be looking at additional sgd1300. kai yan tou is another sgd700. 1 week stay/food/travel another sgd500. air tix. from $400-500(budget)
total to prepare
min - 1.3k+1.3k+900 = 3.5k (double eyelid + rhino implant)
max - 2.5k+1.3k+700+1k = 5.5k (DE+RI+KYT)
mid - 5.5k +3.5k / 2 = sgd4.5k (Mixture)

it is normal u want ur eyes to look like a bambi or big and round coz gals like it. the surgery involved is either kai yan tou (head) or kai yan wei (tail). thou some ppl does need double eyelid to achieve that.
however, unless ur face is those pixie type, else it may not look good. thus most gals would top it off with chin and cheek shaving.
Estimate cost is SGD8-10K (DE+KYT+Chin+Cheek) to be near Dawn yeo standard.
AnywAY SHE LOOKS GOOD! only thing that make her imperfect is her perfect ang moh nose..

I've been a silent reader of this forum to better inform myself b4 I decide where and how I do my nose and eyelid job.
I believe this place is for sharing with and educating each other, which is y i was disgusted n feel i shld say smthing when i saw this sort of mindless madeup gossip:
tanjhj wrote:Dawn's face reportedly cost her parents 30k+ thats why she had to be ship to USA else her surgery will be exposed by many of her friends. did u realise she never post her JC days or before pix in her blog? AnywAY SHE LOOKS GOOD! only thing that make her imperfect is her perfect ang moh nose..

I know Dawn, n though we r not tht close frenz I do know her family's not rich enough to spend a ridiculous 30k+. Her dad has been retrenched long time n they depend on her mum. She seems humble n thrifty. A mutual fren told me tht when Dawn did her nose with her 2 galfrenz she used her own savings money, not her parent's money.
Shipped off to USA becos of fear? she actually got a scholarship thatz why she left SMU.
And yes, she did post her sec sch n jc day pix in her blog a while ago. still looked gd imo.
I think its wrong for u to make up your own exaggerated stories to spread here. Get ur facts straight first pls. this is how rumors start n grow out of proportion to hurt people. Dawn is a nice gal who dun deserve tiz kind of thing.
Nonetheless, thanx for all your helpful advice so far about cosmetic surgery.
peace

I tell u what , I Will Message Dr Su At april or maybe call her and send her my photo on that date becuase as tanji Said We need to give her 2 month Early booking for everything becuase she is fully booked at all times . I choose her becuase she is using advance method Of surgery on eye and of course of her name is well know in taiwan so i choose her. guess it would be safe to go underknife under her hand
For nose Currently i still searching What kinda Product is good for life time use and I OR L shape is suit for asia face .
tanji May i ask what is the side Effect of L? If there is side effect , why so many people choose L implant , some asia had L shape implant and they look good in it . I Guess L shape suit some asia face u see Or maybe improvent the better View of look from their face don't u agree ?
And For silicon , I asked Dr KK from a free Consultation from his clince , he said Silicon is a hundered years product and it will last life time in humen face becuase it is hard to damage.
But i prefer Ear Bone , becuase ear born will Boost the Shape View of L shape Image More then I . For hanfong they are using L shape implant Using Ear bone , Silicon + ear bone is what they use by them .
anyway Tanji Can i asku whether
EAr Bone , Gortex , Slicon
Which product is good ?

Hi tanjhj,
Read Dr Su's website.
It seems that Dr Su from Taiwan does not perform the korean mini 3 cut incisional style dounble eyelid that wish clinic provide.
The korean style double eyelid that Dr Su provide has a cut tats ard 1.5cm whereas the wish clinic one is 3 mini cuts, each of ard 3mm.

well said, must listen for all potential PS ppl. most of those who came here to get info & courage for their PS, stop coming back after they did their PS to enjoy life, while Jovin is still here to share and educate.
What she said is of actual uses and beneficial for pre and post PS ppl. Thus MUST listen. agree that dawn yeo dun look good to me at all, she has totally lost her identity in her new artificial looks. however, am glad that if the totally makeover makes her truly happy.

For me, it's because i was stationed there quite a few times last year and beginning of this year, so i asked around and the taiwanese girls recommended me to Dr. Jiang Xiao Shan. That time Dr. Jiang's appointment are all full, hence i looked for alternative and found Dr Hsu. Dr Hsu appears on TV quite often, while Dr. Jiang is purely words-of-mouth. But taiwanese themselves prefers to go Dr Jiang. Another popular doctor which many actresses goes to is Dr. Zhang Jiu Ming, but rumours has it that he did not have PS qualification. He only have General Practitioner license. But, alot of actresses went to him still. You know who Xu Chun Mei is? That rich auntie who always appears on TV shows and claims she's high-class people. She did some PS recently, and she went to Dr. Zhang.
No doubt, yes my chinese is quite good, so no problem in Taiwan

gartheven2000 wrote:hi Jovin, tanhj and all the rest of the taiwan experts,
How did you find out which taiwanese doctor to go to? Purely from the internet alone and then email the doctor? Your Chinese reading muz be good rite? Discovered that since my Chinese is not good, it's really difficult to surf their sites, get info and decide which are the most suitable ones!

In my opinion, going in a group to do PS is NOT better. Yes i agree it is cheaper, but slightly and that's because accomodation can shared. For me, i will definitely go alone, do alone, reccuperate alone and come back happy! Of course it depends on your character. If you need someone to be by your side, then yes maybe going with someone else might be a good idea. But don't forget, that "someone" else is having his/her nose bandaged and can't help you much too.
Also, i always prefer to schedule my surgery in the morning, never the last one. I always have this mentality that by end of the day, doctor might be quite tired already and hence result won't be as good.

gartheven2000 wrote:Taiwan might be a good choice. Why not we do the research on taiwan first on the eyelid and rhino and work out which doctors to go, things to do and airtrip, hotel blah blah first. Then summarize it in a word file. it'll be more convincing for other potential PS pple to join in the taiwan trip. Going in groups is definitely far better and cheaper lor.
Btw babyevil care to meet up sometime? i am very interested in eyelid and rhinoplasty too. Maybe can set up a meeting wif everyone here interested in doing PS and those who want to go taiwan: to discuss abt more concrete plans and course of action.

jovin: we actually have the same mentality! but i dont want to be the first patient of the day as well. maybe second or third os i scared the doctors siu bu xing(never wake up properly).
tanjhj: thank you so much for all the info you patiently provide. but dr su still has not get back to me! and cannot post on the board because you need to be a member and you need to be a taiwanese to do so. i read infront that you called(using skype) to one of the clinics, was it dr su's? any other wyas i can get my question to dr su?
