i sent in on monday and din receive any reply yet.. i realise that many people got their replys real fast though.. guess i will resend again later in the evening if still no news..

i think kick out in first round is high...most likely, management interview is like 1st round 1 to 1 when you almost reach the final round, i think your chances are high

heee.. i duno if i look youthful or not... but i guess for write in, we older girls won't stand a chance of being selected for the 1st round. so i feel that a walk in wld be a better chance for us as in eveyone is given a chance to take a stab at round 1.

nope.. mgmt round is not 1 to 1.. is 1 to a panel of SQ ppl...

usually question asked are more or less same as 1 to 1... mgmt round is to see whether you can/cope being as a cabin crew...

of course the pressure will be higher as you're facing a panel of ppl..
(i think is 3 to 4 ppl)
sometimes they merely ask you to get to know you more plus asking you whether you're serious about this job.
as you know the turn over rate is high for cabin crew so you need to be prepared and ready for what's coming up...

a cabin crew is not just about serving lo.. anything can happen on the plane... good thing is you get to enjoy all the perks and everything.. but you also need to be prepared to deal with different ppl from all different culture and different situation... who knows the one you're serving is a big CEO of a company... and worse what if an accident were to happen??? (touch wood!!!)
are you too prepared for that???

sometimes they tend to post one qns after another even before you finish answering the first questions.. juz wanna test your respond.. i think you need to be calm and think before you answer.. and sometimes they might question you further to your previous answer given...

question asked are usually is a open-ended question, no right or wrong answer. as long as you give an answer and support it with a good reason.. i think it wouldn't be very difficult to pass...

thks for replying, jus wondering if the interviewers will ask questions like situation or Scenario based... hope it is not that difficult. I am kinda worry that i will be booted out during the managment round and will be banned for months. its kinda long and i m not young too...

well this one is hard to predict lo.. just like i was surprise that they didn't ask us to do a usual self-intro instead ask us what "super power we want" lolx...

what i will do if i were you, is to read up on the latest news on SIA...
You can read through the SIA cabin crew thread too...
And search though the internet what are the common question will be ask during a mgmt interview lo...
there's lots of stuff can be found through the net about cabin crew's
interview...
and list down some expected question they MIGHT ask and what would you answer... Just some points will do lo..

many things can be expected and can be unexpected too... I believe if you done your preparation well, you're 50% there already... another 50% is your on the spot performance, which is hard to predict...

there's no model answer to the question just giv e a good reason to support your answer will do...

and rememeber...
RELAX and BREATHE!!!
you will be able to think better when you're at ease...

keke.. nah... far from it... i tried 7 times liao..the furthest i been to is 1 to 1 interview (round3)... so now still trying lo...

of course whenever i go for interview, will get to meet new people den learn from their experience...

it dun feel good when you get rejected over and over again. but i have a lot of friends (even my bf too!!!), who gave me support and encourage me to try again and again...

otherwise i would have given up long ago.. whahaha...
though 7 times still the same no good news, but i will still continue to try till i'm overage.. whahaha... but i'm still young, 21 now.. so still have a few years ahead lo...

I wanted to join is because of my passion to serve, of course for cabin crew, the serving part is a yucky thingy.. but the job satisfaction is defintely something you dun get in a normal office job.. it's something i wanna do since i'm young.. exciting, challenging and rewarding career i would say...

ya man... keep trying and nv say die... be more determine... i can understand tt it is veri demoralising when being rejected or turn down... keep trying and we will improve and be better... it is veri encouraging when ppl like us tt nv give up easily.
