my face got a few pimples... damn it... what a time....

me toOO... haiz... now like wasn't the right time manz...
pimple all pop pop pop... blackheads at least squeeze le won't be so obvious... haiz... got to use concealer liao... haha.. if you see a geisha tml that might be me...
i also haven prepared much either.. for self-intro, i still remember what i said during my last walk-in so dun think wanna change otherwise tml cannot remb...
i think i more scare of 1 to 1 lo...
if they shoot me the qns why i tried so many times not successful?
I still thinking how to answer them man...
that time i die at this qns lo... stupid me say i was too nervous so fail so many times...
har they will ask how come tried so many time still not successful? OMG, you can tell them unprepared or ...
coz i declare all the dates i tried for SQ ma... i scare if i dun they will find out lo... actually no need state all dates la.. juz state a few can liao.. if they happen to have record and question you den you say you couldn't remember all dates you tried lo..
i didn't expect the interviewer will ask me this lo.. the other qns he asked were the qualities of a cabin crew, latest SQ news, what are the challengers you face from your current job and how you handle it, why you wanna be a cabin crew and ask you read a passage and what you understand from the passage..
all i know how to answer but i die at the stupid qns lo.. and i see ppl interviewed by him mostly is fail de... he quite strict...
so gals (or guys) whether or not SQ are in need of crews, some interviewer is still very strict lo.. so please be at your best tml yea...
you wont wanna come out regretting this and that... make this your best and your last yea!!!
that's what i told myself too... If i wnat to be a FA, i have to give in my best...
Though i didn't make it the last walk-in but i did make improvement.. my previous attempts all fail at round 1 and once round 2.. reason being i wasn't being natural enough so my confidence level drop drop drop...

funny that they stated in the website that they accept applicants with 5 o passes and experience. i have more than 2 years of experience, and if i didnt get shortlisted, i guess that statement was just placed to prevent any form of discrimination?

you're still studying in poly?
when are you graduating? is it too early to go for interview cos i still have 1 sem to go.

ms dots, i'm taking part time diploma. will only graduate next yr.
wait till u have about 1 month before graduating then try out for the interview. you are still young, no need to be so kan chiong.
sigh. till now i havent received anything from sia. i guess they are only recruiting dip/a levels holder. i wonder the $3500 pay per month as stated, is it as misleading as their recruitment requirement.

my dear, the average income for SQ cabin crew is 3.5k. It could be more or it could be less, it depends on your flying roster. The longer the distance the higher the allowance.

hmm... you are applying to be a cabin crew totally because of the pay??

i shan't comment on the pay. but for current crew, i'm curious cause i had been hearing rumours about crew being placed on standby (that means no flights) if they have sudden outbreak (bad complexion) or if they had gain weight and look too fleshy in the uniform. they are only given flights when their complexion recover or until they had slim down. is this true?

Let me re-phrase it. i am applying to SQ because of their pay. Whatever passion you have, it'll eventually die down after years in the job or having your luck working with shitty crews, or getting shitty rosters.
