More seriously. Fiddle with the ends of a folded piece of 'packing tape' and you can get it to wiggle around quite sharp corners.

If all fails, it's time to get a locksmith.

Agree with myasis… if my eyes do not deceive me, it looks like their are screw holes on the bottom of that shaft, just ever so barely visible.
