I assume you're using "most" with a dose of sarcasm.

It is. A "region" can encompass multiple countries.

Or maybe I should use the word "was".

One thing for sure, more people in Singapore know that Tibet and Xinjiang were not part of China until recently, than there are people that know Ukraine is not part of Russia.

Its not on the back burner any more , early reports are that someone is trying to invite the rest of the world to the party in Ukraine.

Mother called 2 days ago: told me to write down brother's house address because she is making her will giving all property to me. What can I do? The city is completely blocked by terrorists. Nobody is let out, unless they volunteer to go to Russian "refugee camp" (same as prison)

Called once again yesterday. Office building blocked by terrorists, canons nearby. Nobody is let out of the building. She managed to get away a bit later.

Later on - terrors started going door-to-door grabbing people. They need them to dig trenches and build barricades. Nobody volunteers anymore. Local citizens' support is long gone only massacre is there. My brother managed to "escape" by switching off the doorbell (father is not afraid, should be though, cuz he is 60+ already - he wun be taken for trenches, only for demonstrative shootout for Russian TV as if Ukrainian "fascists" shoot down Russian speakers)

Our neighbor was taken though. He did not switch off the doorbell. His wife was crying, she was shut: "War, woman!"

Another friend of ours taken before. Interesting how they knew his name and address: he voted on "referendum". Moron!

Another one acquaintance (alcoholic): joined the terrors, got a machine gun, next day sold it, bought some vodka and got drunk. Day after - terrors came and broke all his bones asking whom he sold his machine gun to. He didn't remember (At least he told so)

Spread the word to this political broad Merkel. She said that yes, there are "difficulties" in relations with Russia and… called for peaceful dialogue again. Looks like one more world leader is committing a political suicide.

Sarcasm it might have been, but the fact has resulted in a tragic incident with MH17. MSM are busy censoring the military ops in Ukraine until no one in MAS knows that there's a war going on.

Dear Sergey, it's the same with Ukrainians forcibly drafted into the army now being sent to Lugansk. Their wives are crying too.

The oligarch and maidan people are in control of your country.

From Libya to Egypt to Iraq to Syria, there's no good outcome after a Western supported coup.

You should really try to get your relatives out of Ukraine, to the EU or Singapore. If ethnic cleansing starts after the war is over, then Russian "jail" is better than staying behind.

Not sure there are many positive outcomes for coups supported by anyone not just the west.

You're right, I was just thinking about the total anarchy situation in Syria.

Either you're provocateur or you have Down syndrome.

If you are Russian yourself, you have nothing to do in the thread at all.

Sane people understand the difference between:
1) threat to be killed by foreign invaders,
2) threat to be killed protecting your own country from foreign invaders.

And yes - when your country is under attack, if you do not want to be mobilized, you WILL be mobilized anyway BY FORCE, or arrested for deserting and mobilized anyway. I do not know a single country in the world where it is different.

And yes, just now a huge convoy pf 24 Russian trucks and 20 units of tanks and APCs crossed Ukrainian border in Lugansk direction. In your opinion, those who don't want to protect Ukraine need to go back to crying wives and wait for those tanks to come for them and their children (I don't even understand why am I replying to such a retarded post, I should definitely stop that)

Putin spits on sanctions, he doesn't care about MH17. He NEVER in 15 years of ruling admitted a single mistake of hs own, he always chooses the worst scenario, he always replies to force by even more force, he never stopped at anything. No reason for him to change now.

For especially "gifted", despite how this thread was starting months ago, it is not for you to diminish the significance of our revolution and maidan. "Maidan people" is ME as well, as well as my parents, even though we never physically were there.

I think, he means the BEST outcomes happen when the coup is supported by the almighty... Putin!

I think Putin has been badly advised in this episode , surely it would have made more sense to say that it was a mistake, rogue elements in the army, and the offending soldiers have been shipped off to the Gulags.

Going straight on the defensive was not the best move and he has managed to unite the whole of the UN Security council for the first time in years.

I find it very strange that we've not heard anything of the air traffic controller voice recordings with MH17 pilots. It has been more than a week.

If you recall, voice recordings was the first thing that the Malaysian government released to the public for MH370.
