That is exactly how Russian propaganda works - articles like this.

Another satire article, quite funny:

http://www.duffelblog.com/2014/03/putin-drone-strike/

All of the comments on Facebook around this article were scared people saying Putin and Russia would think it was true, and use it as an excuse to escalate things.

Coming Sunday March 16 may appear to be a bloodbath in Crimea.

Last episode shows my city (Donetsk). Killings started last night. Pro-Russian rioters beat and kill everybody just for carrying Ukrainian flag. I, who spent first 25 years of my life in that city, have mother, father, grandmother, younger brother, cousins, nephews, uncles, aunts and lots friends there, - we are all Russian speakers, we are all for Ukraine. We do not need any kind of "help" from fascist Putin.

I'm wondering if Russians hijacked MH370 in order to distract the world from the Ukraine.

Maybe it'll wind up landing in Kiev, and the Russians will come in to liberate it :D

What I find strange is that most of the passengers from the plane were Chinese. I would have expected China to display its military might into this and play a bigger role in the search efforts.

They're trying to avoid talking about it.

I have the impression that China is not too much interested in the faith of its citizens. I recall many cases where a foreigner was involved in some sort of trouble and the diplomacy of her/his country took an action and it was visible internationally, but I have problems to recall anything like this for China. Of course it is possible that Chinese citizens do not get into troubles in a foreign country but it rather looks to me like some kind of philosophy one million people here, one million there, who cares as long as they are not the diplomats or their families.

China doesn't look like a staunch supporter of Russia in Ukraine conflict (unlike it was with Syria)

be more active in the search and be at the receiving end of the anger of the relatives?

no way

better to Tai chi to Malaysia ... USA ... Europe ... (per some report China's unofficial media had heaped shame on Americans and Europeans for their inefficiency ... than admit China's might would have meant there could have been more information ... )
