Post by sugarcoatedhaws » Wed, 15 Jan 2014 4:54 pm

Hi, am just curious which service provider is better for mobile and broadband?

Any suggestions or feedback?

There are dozens of threads on this. Ask in the proper forum, and use the search. That's the best suggestion.

Failing that, Singtel. M1 only if you need pre-paid LTE. Avoid Starhub.

I'm not 100% satisfied with Starhub for mobile.
I'm really annoyed at their cable since nearly every channel has chinese subtitles on it. Which isn't a problem unless you're watching a show that has English subtitles. Cause they occupy the same space.
No issues at all with broadband.

I believe Starhub cable is still an analog service, so you can't change the subtitles in realtime. Singtel's MIO TV lets you do this (or even the language it's dubbed in), but their overall picture quality is even crappier than Starhub.
