When most are stuck driving a Santa Fe, an Odyssey or a Vios because of the extortionate costs compared to what we know a car costs, it takes a special breed to buy something a little unusual or special and then spend a little time and effort on it

Little time only, though

Got serious speed about 90bhp
Really? I think the original spec is 82bhp so you gained 8 and got 'serious speed'?

Maybe it was the go faster stripes that really added all the speed
Went like a rocket
My daughter had the Zetec-S TDCI 88 bhp stock and I do not remember it going like a rocket. Maybe the 2bhp extra you had made the difference :-)

Cool :)
It's the costs here, and my own personal ignorance over what LTA will allow and what will cause them to seize my car and toss me into Changi.

I only bought a Fit myself, but I did make sure to get the JDM Fit RS with sports seats and the 125hp 1.5l so I could pull away on the typical 1.3l Fits and Jazzs :)

The smarter long term expats negotiate car allowances (not a car) and use the money to buy what they want. I've owned a C200 and now the FXT2.5 on my 'car allowance' and in both cases the country managers of the companies I work for have whinged and whined as to why I get to drive such luxury cars while they're in a Nissan Sunny. I usually point out how corrupt the HR people are - they are ALWAYS creaming off the top - a Nissan Sunny lease is about 1.5 times the cost of my usual HP costs.

IF you own the car, you will be interested in it. If it's just a leased car it's going back to the lease company anyways.

W had a HR manager - S L - who was fired for taking 'gift' vouchers in exchange for accepting sub standard cars... I'm sure she's not the only one doing it.

CEL came on.... the tuner had missed one code for the cold weather secondary air pump - I took it in and it was fixed in 15 mins for free.

Good service.

He used RomRaider for those interested in knowing.
