Cachaça

Post by Mexikaner » Fri, 10 Jan 2014 8:49 am

Anyone knows where to buy good Cachaça in Singapore??

my wife keeps asking me to prepare for her a nice strawberry caipirinha, and as you may well know, you need Cachaça.
I once ordered a caipirinha in Holland Village, and they wrongly made it with rum...really lousy

this year will be even more special to have good Cachaça at home given the Brazil World Cup ;)

any Brazilians out there with inside info?

Obrigado!

You can buy it online - google Millies Singapore.

De nada!

Millies sells Cachaça 51 which Brazilians would not necessarily consider a good Cachaça... quite the contrary ;-)

You can buy good cachaca at The Latin Quarter at OCBC centre, Drinks & Co at Club Str, La Maison de Whisky at Robertson Walk or The Providore at Pasarbella. Liquorbar and Maracatu sell online.

With good I refer to artisanal Cachaça. Brands I came across in Singapore are
Abelha Cachaça
Engenho Vertente Cachaça
Gabriela Cachaça
Leblon Cachaça
Maracatu Cachaça

Saude!
