Looking for budget shipping/ freight forwarder to HK

Post by Jenny0629 » Wed, 08 Jan 2014 7:49 pm

Hello all,

I am sending 4 carton boxes of personal items (each box: 60cm x 50cm x 40cm) + 1 TV (20 inch) to Hong Kong, as I have just changed to a new company, so I have to move out from my current apartment which belongs to my previous company. They don't provide me with moving allowance.

- All boxes are self-packed
- Sea trip is preferred (as those are not urgent items)
- Budget: max SGD 450

Any companies to recommend? I checked a number of international moving companies and also shipping companies, and did a few online quotation - all requires at least SGD 650-700.

Or feel free to share with me your experience.

Thank you very much!

Jenny

Did you try 'Asian Tigers'? I had a very good experience with them when relocating from Philippines to Singapore. Not sure how competitive they are I only compared to one other company as this is all my employer needed (they paid).
