Employment Pass

Post by mine » Mon, 06 Jan 2014 2:51 pm

HI guys! Im a bit worried and I need your opinion.

So I was previously working in an MNC company and got an employment pass. But when i came here in singapore,i realized that they overstated my salary to get me a pass. Now,a new employer applied for my a new EP and will give me the real salary range. but my Employment pass application was rejected and now the employer is asking me for the IRAS assessment, said MOM needs it. The new company know that i wasn't paid properly before. My concern is,not that MOM will look into my IRAS assesment, will i be in trouble? Is there any chance that my appeal will be approved? thanks for your help.

if your tax was based on declared salary, you are ok, still you broke the law - even though it was your employer who did it ..

if your tax was based on lower salary .. no words ..
