EP Card (Green Card) not Returned

Post by texas.vvip » Sun, 05 Jan 2014 3:50 pm

Hi,

My company which is HQ in SG has a subsidiary in Malaysia. And I'm employed in Malaysia for the past 3.5 Yrs. In 2012, I was asked to go to Singapore for a project of 6 mnths duration. My company processed EP. After I'm done with the project I returned back to Malaysia and handed over my EP Card (Green Card) to my Employer.

At present, again my employer wants me to travel to Singapore in Feb, 2014. But when I checked with my employer regarding my past EP Cards, I was told that they probably misplaced them. But they were sure that they never returned back to MOM.

After I came back from Singapore they cancelled my EP online and filed for tax clearance and they also send me the Tax clearance form.

Please advise what will happen if my EP card (Green Card) never been returned or lost and I apply for EP again ? Is there any workaround ? what to do in both the cases ? 1. EP Card Lost 2. EP Card Still with Employer and not returned yet

Tq
