What are the reviews on True Fitness?

Post by iyernix » Tue, 24 Dec 2013 12:47 pm

hi All,

I am scouting around checking which Gym to join. Checked Fitness First, True Fitness and Virgin Fitness. Pricing Ranges from 138 at FF to 110 at TF to 170 at Virgin. Both FF and Virgin allow exits with fee or free respectively. TF binds you into a 1 year contract.

I have been a FF member before in Dubai. However in pricing TF is the cheapest.

My question is what is the general view on True Fitness? Which gyms do members recommend.

Thanks

Nikhil

California Fitness is the cheapest.
True Fitness is said to have more equipment compared to Fitness First.

True Fitness Tampines opinion:
Good: Can do heavy deadlifts and slam barbells off the floor. The floor is well-equipped for that.
Bad: Lack of olympic barbells (once somebody is doing deadlifts, squat reck or one of bench press benches is not usable, 3 people doing deadlifts - means, others can go away).

But you may not be doing any of olympic lifts at all, so you wouldn't care.

thanks for the feedback Sergei... you are right i dont intend doing either. Had read some bad reviews on their service post signing up... but good to hear that your expectations are being met. Cheers and Merry Xmas.
