We apply to SIM (Singapore Institute of management) and for DMS program.
I confuse, whether i should apply dependent pass and student pass?
Or maybe i try other university like MDIS.

SIM also never tell me what is the reason.

ICA realizes that some people exploit the long stay visa that accompanies the student pass. So ICA becomes suspicious when lots of foreigners get student passes through certain courses at private universities. I thought that SIM, since it is recognized a 'Institute of Higher Learning' (IHL), should not have this problem. Can they tell if you a lot of their other foreign student applications are being rejected ?

There are a few options possible

a. File an appeal through SIM ( Without knowing the reason, the appeal might just be simply rejected as well. )

b. Submit student pass application through a different university ( If you submit through another university, and the first rejection was something to do with the student profile, then it might be rejected again. Also I am not sure how ICA will look at repeated applications for same person by different schools )

c. Apply for dependent pass first, and then apply for a student pass ( Even if you get the dependant pass, you will still need to apply for a student pass later before commencing study. So we area back at the same problem. )

So which route is better ? I do not know.
