I'm beginning the search for a
condo with agent having sent me a list of places to check out.
My company is paying for the condo but I'm wondering if it's worth paying any premium to upgrade to more bedrooms?
Budget from company pretty much handles any studio/1br but wondering if I'll regret not getting a bigger place.
Thoughts?

If you are alone the bare minimum I would consider is LR + 2BRs (unless you don't see any friends and family coming to visit you).

In Singapore there isn't usually a big difference between Studio/1br and the 2br units due to the much larger supply of 2br units. Unless you're looking at the < 500sqft "shoebox" units.
I guess a better question we could ask is what is the budget your company is giving?

My allowance was penciled in at $4.5k but that can be changed is needed (somewhat fluid with situation). They put in a number based on input from agent so if I need something better it's possible to do so.
I almost hate to admit my habits but after now realizing that commute time is an issue it's making my decision much harder.
My daily routine is early to rise 7x weeks and I workout both in AM and PM for swim/bike/run. Tacking on an hour commute would really suck but I had my mind set on the East Coast area for the access to the path and service road.
Would bike commute to double as a workout but no showers at the office

If I recall from another thread, your office is somewhere on Serangoon Rd North? $4.5k/month should get you a decent 2BR or even 3BR
condo anywhere around there pretty easily.
Without knowing the exact location, I just did within 1KM of Serangoon MRT station. There are quite a lot of amenities around there (Western Speak: Good food and a decent mall), you should have good bus connections to anything along Serangoon Rd North, and the MRT station services two different lines.
