Timescales for PEP

Post by daveco23 » Wed, 11 Dec 2013 4:39 pm

Hi All,
Just applied for PEP yesterday and was wondering if anybody has real world experience of the amount of time it takes for it to be approved.
Girl at the Post office said one week, but MOM when I called them said 5 weeks.
Anybody have experience of applying, and the mount of time it took?
Thanks.

I applied and forgot about it (was skeptical). After approximately a month I found the letter of approval in my mail box that was there already for a while... It was beginning of this year.

As said by MOM, it is 5 weeks.. Sometimes you may get it a week earlier or later too.

Since, it is manual processing it will be taking some time and not surely one week.
