As anyone of you come across or know about this Group? It offers a suite of financial advisory services, including investment banking, motor insurance, trade finance, etc. They have offices in major capital cities, including in Singapore at One Raffles Quay (going to pop over to see their office).

This is NOT - Soleil Capitale (with an "e") Group.
Search through MAS and Biz File - no such Groups as Soleil Capital registered in Singapore. In order to provide advisory services, you would need to be licensed by MAS.

Re: Soleil Capital Group
not necessarily, if the advisor can work around/within the requirements.livingontheedge wrote:...Search through MAS and Biz File - no such Groups as Soleil Capital registered in Singapore. In order to provide advisory services, you would need to be licensed by MAS.
but the company you speak of would pro bably need to be licensed.
There's no entry for that name on Wikipedia - a warning bell.
Also I'd expect them to be pushing their credentials, the regd co #'s, who regulates them, legal disclaimers, and so on at the front of their site's pages. But I don't see any mention of it; instead cliched and cheesy pictures of Bentley's and Lear-jets (do you think a professional executive, looking for a company to facilitate of him is going to impressed by needless and irrelevant pictures like that?)
Plus they claim to have opened a network of 8 global branches in the 10 years since start-up. I find that ... 'most surprising'.
Why not e-mail them, and ask them which authorities and regulators they are registered with in SG, and what their regn numbers are?
