Happens a few times a day, just happened now.
Terrible racket for several minutes (I can still hea a rumble now). I've lived in proximity to major airports before (and indeed Changi) but nothing like this 5-10 minutes of really blasting it noise.
I live McRitchie ... so am rather perplexed what it is...
What is it B52s, some missile programme?

I listened to the same stuff for 15 years that I lived in Seletar Camp. They had engine test bed facilities at Samco at the Seletar Airport. Used to hate that as you couldn't hear yourself think, let along try to hear the TV. (Old black & whites with 14' ceilings and no barriers).Strong Eagle wrote:They have a jet engine test pad nearby. Tie those engines down to a concrete pad and open 'em up.
