Hi Friends,
I am married to a Singapore PR for the past 3 months, She studied in Singapore for 2 years and worked for 3 years before getting her PR. Last salary she drew was 3200 SGD/month.
I am an Indian working in US (from past 1.5 years) with a total experience of 7.2 years in IT and drawing a salary of 70,000 USD per year, roughly 7300 SGD per month.
I want to get a Singapore PR. Is this the right time for her to apply for my PR, what do you think are the chances of approval.
What are the other ways I can look at to work in Singapore and stay with her.
Thank You.

You wont be given PR based on your spouses PR, for 4 reasons:
1)Your spouse salary is not very high
2)In Singapore, its easier for the Husband to sponsor wife's PR and the other way around is very difficult
3)You are not living in Singapore.
4)As an Indian, its extremely difficult to get PR.
Your only chance is if you get a job offer in Singapore with a salary of atleast 8k a month, ideally 10-12k a month and live here for 3 years atleast.
But then again, after 3 years, rules may become even more tough, who knows.
Its better you take your Singapore PR wife to US and settle there.

The way I see SG Citizens struggling to get PR / LTVP for their spouses, I too foresee the same ahead ..Wd40 wrote: But then again, after 3 years, rules may become even more tough, who knows.
And in the process, loose her PR too, as extended stay out of country is now easily leading to non-renewal of REP !!Wd40 wrote:Its better you take your Singapore PR wife to US and settle there.
Tough choices ahead I would say ..
In fact, the OP's post is not so clear. From the way he says he wife's last drawn salary, I suspect, his wife is not working at the moment and probably already left Singapore.
He is hoping for some kind of landed PR kind of application that works for Australia, but Singapore, just forget it! I am here working for 4 years and salary higher even in absolute terms than the 70KUSD that he is making and they rejected my PR.
