This is my first Christmas in Singapore and interested to know where you can find reasonably priced Christmas paper, wrapping, decorative stuff etc without it costing a fortune?
Most places iv'e seen sell 5m rolls of wrapping paper and charge $7.10. Most cards are ridiculously priced per piece.
Where are the places in Singapore to get such things without it being too costly?
Thanks!

Love Daiso. I bought some wrapping paper, gift bags, candles etc from there recently, it is pretty good.
Watson for wrapping paper isn't too bad $2.50.
Typo- I think it is 3 rolls for $10

There are three or four Christmas shops near Bugis 2 (Illuma) , they had loads of Christmas tat, you come out the back door on ground floor and turn left, the road is Manila Street.
Life is short, paddle harder!!

Try Popular bookstore (all over Singapore malls), Artfriend art supplies shop (Buona Vista MRT station, Takashimaya @ Orchard, Bras Basah complex) and Spotlight DIY store in Plaza Singapura.
IKEA is a good idea too.

Since they're your friends, you can give them a gift that you think they need or will use every day :) Practical but functional.
