Dear forum fellows
Just a raw summary of my work done yet:
In 2003 I finished the 4-years apprenticeship in information technologies at a Swiss Federal Office. After that i did the 1-year general qualification for the college of higher education. Since i had the opportunity to do an internship abroad afterwards im going now to finish a 4-month internship as IT-assistent in singapore in 1 month. During the specialising last two years of the apprenticeship my field of work was mainly networking. Managing the world-wide swiss embassy network and the swiss gov. network. I did the course for the CCNA as well (ICND) but didnt had the chance to obtain the CCNA certification yet, im ready to to make up anyway. As final thesis i wrote a "Network troubleshooting handbook" mainly based on tcp/ip networks with cisco/3com/baystack/nortel devices.
Not to forget, I'm 22 years old and from Bern, Switzerland.
Speaking and writting german, french, english, (swissgerman) fluently.
So my question is ..... is there any oppurtunity to get a job in singapore to gain practical experience with my level of education?
