High Society music

Post by lordapple » Sat, 09 Nov 2013 7:18 pm

I recently visited singapore and wondered into a music store and was blown away by the music. Has anyone come across this concept of music. I bought 4 CDs there. Anyone else have a recommendation which they think is good?

I never heard of this, so I Googled it and tried to go to their website...

So is OP intentionally trying a watering hole* attack? or is he just an idiot?

I'm not spamming. There's a store called That CD shop and they have a collection of albums under High society. e.g.

Does anyone recommend any albums?

I'm from Australia, and we can't get them here.

Sorry, I'm lost. Google says High Society music is a label of That CD shop so it can be anything. The clips from YT sound pretty ordinary to me, just modern Chinese songs you can hear everyday on the radio. First clip are covers of well known pieces.

Gawd that stuff 'Sail away, Sail away, Sail away' etc. and Yanni, are terribly vulgar.

Yes. You could start here...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98I85ceICRM
AC/DC Let there be rock (1977, Unedited video version)

or

Motörhead - Ace Of Spades

But in many respects, your search is a look in the mirror. You must decide what you seek, and are willing to see reflected.

Maksim reminded me about Vanessa Mae. I like her.
