Can anyone recommend a reliable motorcycle mechanic, preferably in the Ang Mo Kio area? My husband used two mechanics in the past, one at Alexandra village and another at Yew Tee Industrial Park but both were out to take advantage of him since he is Caucasian. We need one that is reliable - would not 'damage' the bike on purpose so we have to go back for repairs. The last time something like this happened almost cost my husband his life.
Any suggestions/recommendations welcome. Thanks

Thanks for the recommendation. Both are in the west. Hoping someone has a mechanic in the central/north region. Much thanks again.

There was one shop recommended by our long time member Strong Eagle, but it was one of those off Alexandra Rd (Bukit Merah cluster).

Also you can try
http://www.asphoon.com/. They have few shops including one on Serangoon Rd. I used them a number of times and their standard is sometimes not to my acceptance level but in general they are not that bad especially for regular maintenance. Also, they have never done anything of the magnitude you mentioned and will not charge you more because you are a Caucasian. They are just a high throughput shop with the staff of varying experience and performance.

I've never experienced an angmo tax with this guy.
For oil changes, and minor repairs, yes, there is a good shop in the Bukit Merah area.
