I just saw an article about dodgy Malaysian spas offering cream cheese instead of oil for massages.
Some thoughts:
* that is just so weird
* isn't cream cheese expensive in this part of the world?

That's weird and disgusting. I looked it up online and got even more grossed out. It's probably expensive because cheese is expensive and because it's done at erotic massage parlors that do things other than massages.
What's also slightly less weird (but still gross) are the manicure/pedicure spas that have goldfish that nibble on client's feet, supposedly removing dead skin. That practice is unsanitary and has been outlawed in the USA and other countries but is allowed here. Whatever happened to a pumice stone?

Seems like my kind of place.
Will they let me stand in a bucket of cold custard and throw ping pong balls at me?
