[quote]SINGAPORE—Singapore Police have arrested a woman who allegedly damaged an art installation at the island nation’s Changi Airport.

Kinetic Rain, a hanging sculpture at Terminal 1, was allegedly damaged by a woman who climbed onto a safety net below the installation.
A spokeswoman for the airport said the woman, who wasn’t identified, climbed over a glass railing to a protective net below the “Kinetic Rain”

a friend mentioned that maybe she just wanted the Rain Drops .. :)

Cue, the PEARLS in the Bubble tea ..

Chantikki: I remember there was a safety net, to catch the not-too-light motorised rain drops .. in case they fell off

There is no point looking for rational behaviour where you'll find none. She might have issues 'upstairs'. The stupidity of her actions suggest it.

It was in reply to the previous poster who remarked 'It's lucky she didn't fall'.

What is the point us having that concern, when it's not even appeared on her radar?

I was there a few days ago and stopped to look at that display, the safety net doesn't look safe for people to be walking around on.

If she is crazy, I wonder what kids of crazy would cause you to do something like that.

"Changi Airport's Kinetic Rain sculpture back in full swing".

What a wonderfully cheeky headline. Well, if, indeed, it was deliberate of course.

Is it little wonder the UK's Health & Safety Department is stopping people using staples instead of paper clips, piling paper on their desks more than 6in high and on seeing a drowning kid in a swimming pool wait for professional assistance, when there are some people on the planet that common sense simply said 'Screw You' too?

Perhaps she got hypnotized by the raindrops dangling?! Could be dangerous, no?

:D
