Hi there,
I did my extensions at this place at Heerens, on the fourth floor. Its rather popular & not so expensive. i paid about 260 for 40 strands & the method they use is they plaid it & use a string to tie. they also have alot of natural colours so no worries about matching your hair colour.
It is much better than those that uses the metal ones beacuse it lasts longer & are not painful unlike the metal ones. I also cut my hair at kimage the P.s one (: hair dresser is Ricky. he's been cutting my hair for years & is really good.

I hope this helps!

I've tried many shops' extension and only like the extension at City Plaza shop name Vain Beauty. They have the newest type of extension which is the braid type. Its very comfortable and it wouldn't spoil the real hair. I've put like 100 pieces and i have 10 pieces foc and paying only 150. Thought it might be a great deal so I would bring this up and share. lol.. no harm trying.. be it long or short its still the same price. quality is good too.

This is my hair before extension, short and thin. and its spoiled by other types of extension.. =(

short hair wrote:I'm interested in hair extension for a little glamour look. Heard of Jean Yip that does it and cost about $500-$600 for full lock. Shunji prob about $1000. I do not know what sort of 'real hair' they uses and any sort of disadvantages.
Anyone who has done it at reasonable rate and any good hairdresser to go to?
I read in the net that Adrian of Dreamweaver (Dallas, Texas) has many satisfied clients and good reviews about his work.
I hope to find someone like him.
tks.
:D
Quite some places in Singapore can do hair extension; I recommend you 'Maggie Shop' at Lucky Plaza #01-91, quite good service and quality at very reasonable price, I believe much more cheaper than the prices you mentioned above. Check at 82231821. thks

my pretty hair

Post by tracybaby » Mon, 21 Jul 2008 4:55 pm

looking good is one of the basic essentials in my life. haha, looking at these forums and hearsays, i did my hair extensions too after much hesitation as i was at first doubting the creditbility of these comments. but afterall, the effect was pretty good and i'm loving it. the credits given to angel xin was true and i can vouch for it as the shop was fully packed that day when i went. but the lady still did a very very excellent job for me. now that i have pretty curls, i can go out in a more glamourous manner :] thanks angel xin.

I personally tried Vain Beauty last month...Did the braiding type & curly hair.

I find that their braiding method is old type & the curly hair is maggie mee type, I took out 1 month later.

Recently found out the pioneer staff of Vain Beauty started her own shop at People's Park centre.

Went to do the new type of braiding & she got the new wavy hair...not maggie mee hair.
I want to Beautiful too!

Last weekend I checked many shops and finally chose one shop at Far East Plaza for my hair extension. I’m happy with the quality and service cos the ladyboss there can do a good job and my hair looks good now. And also the price is cheaper, one strand one dollar. The shop is #03-97, check it out :)
