How to start up a small business

Post by TerryL » Fri, 01 Nov 2013 10:48 am

I am looking to start up my own small business in Singapore in which I would be the only employee. How do I go about doing this and keep costs at a minimum? I hold a DP pass. Any info much appreciated.

as of now, if you want to be the only employee, being a foreigner, and keeping costs low - in simple terms 'you are not wanted here in Singapore .. '

which is a 180 degree of how things were, a few years ago ..

Go do some read up on Entre-pass ..

And look for employing 3 locals or more .. or else, forget about it .. :)

Just -that's my 2 cents ..

You need to review posts in Business and Careers forums... many threads on this topic. Read them and come back with some specifics.

What scale of business?

You at home trading via Ebay, or you having a office and hiring a dozen people?
