Boston Strong!!
Well Fortan, competing teams in the World Series are from Canada and the US (not all of NA, but 2/3)….And one of the winningest closers in Sox history (and the nicest) is Koji Uehara (from Japan)….He closed the game when the Cards seemed to be ready to rally….and the MVP (Big Papi) is from the Dominican (again, not from the US).
Oh, and Barnsley, if by "PED" you mean Performance Enhancing Drugs, there's consistent testing for banned substances (just ask Alex Rodriguez, who's been cooling his heels in Florida with some model or other after having tested positive for some banned substance) - all of the Sox have tested negative (even Big Papi, the MVP who has had a questionable past).
But I'm not gonna let any negativity get in the way of enjoying such a great win!! I really miss being in my home town and enjoying the camaraderie that comes from having our team do well - especially after the horrific bombing earlier this year….

Everyone was up on the Papelbon pitch before it hit the catchers glove.
Isn't the A-Rod ban though stemming from the tests where loads of the big names failed but names weren't released.
Life is short, paddle harder!!
Hey Barnsley - "Pitch," noooo…."Pitcher's Mound," Yessss…. Everyone was up on the Papelbon pitch before it hit the catchers glove.
You get big snaps for watching the game at Champions. Right by my old office. Used to be owned by big time sports agent Bob Wolfe (not sure if still is/was).
Apparently even more excitement since the win was "at home."
Thanks for the comment!!
Oh, and yes….ARod is an ass….good for him for failing….jerk….(am I allowed to say that???)
