As long as the photos' visibility is public. You can share via URL from the photo.

I used the [img]url_in_google+[/img]

It didnt display the picture.

How do I make the photo "public"

I use Photobucket as an online album.

Just take the 'http: ..[etc]... jpg' weblink and post it between [ IMG] and [ /IMG] tags. [drop the spaces I inserted there]

Linking a photo is just that, it doesn't form access into the entire album contents.

Go to album. Sometimes, individual image posts are put in their own albums with the posting date as the album name.

By default, you will see "Shared Privately" under the album name header. If you click that, you can change the visibility. Once it's public, you can share it with people outside your circles.

You can click the photo and once it's in view of the lightbox, you can use right click for "copy image URL" like so:
