S Pass aplication and expiring SVP

Post by Thatguy » Mon, 14 Oct 2013 5:13 pm

Hi Forum,

Just wanted to seek some help from people knowledgable in S Pass waiting time and renewing a SVP (Short-term visitors pass).

My friend is waiting for her S Pass application to be processed. It's only been in for a week. Her SVP expires this week. Now, my question is, does she need to travel out of Singapore, or can she get her SVP extended at the ICA building? If it's the latter, does she need any documentation support from her to-be employer?

Looking forward to hearing your responses.

Thanks,
A

If it's a first application, and she has not had an extension yet on her SVP, then getting one should be fairly easy. If she has already extended once, then she may well have to leave the country for a couple of day/week.

As SMS says. + If it's her first extension she can apply online for it online (no need to travel, or visit ICA).
