Opening today. Couldn't help notice the picture of their President in the paper, sporting a rather large gut ! Too many donuts perhaps ? Another hang-out for local kids to shift from their traditional hawker outlets and fill up on these healthy treats.

I personally don't think Krispy Kreme is anything special, but many might disagree.

No, I think krispykreme is better than the majority of donuts here as the batter is different. I'd rather have a good bagel shop though.

+1 - the only bagels here worth buying are the ones in Cold Storage or CB&TL which are far too expensive.

Hmmm yes, bagel shop. Now you are talking.
At my previous office, there's a nice guy that used to bring in a couple of boxes of KK whenever Hammers won.

+1 on the Bagels. I'd even be happy with a Noah's/Einstein's franchise.

What we need is a Greggs .......
Or at least a proper M&S Supermarket .... though the premium on that might make it not so attractive.

Bagels?
Has no one tried -

It's actualy not bad, the price is not too bad if you buy 13 and they also sell nice cream cheese. Last time we bought the bagels were warm when they arrived and very fresh. Loads of options too.
Mail order only though.

Seems a bit odd to have to get them delivered, until you realise they offer free delivery with an $18+ order.
And bagels freeze well. Hmmm!
p.s. Oh, craving my old favourite, fresh toasted onion bagel loaded with turkey and Swiss + trimmings....... [inhale/>sigggggh]
