Men Dress Shopping Guidance required

Post by S_Perumal » Wed, 02 Oct 2013 6:03 pm

I Saw few posts related to MEN cloth shopping in SINGAPORE.

But those are outdated I saw for few in 2003, 2006 and 2007.

I am specifically looking for good brand names for both PANT and SHIRT.

Help out...

Dunhill
Burberry
Zegna
Prada
Louis Vuitton
...?

Or perhaps you'd like to be more specific?

Define good. Affordable, showy or good quality?

(not that I'm an expert in men's clothing but it'd be nice to know) :P

I actually wear all three, Levi's, Wranglers and Lees. ;-)
(But only 501 Levi's)

I have bought Giordano t-shirts often but they don't last for too many washes before going out of shape! To be expected. They make good house clothes though.

I buy Levi's, quality and fit is very good.

Mixed experiences buying t-shirts from Armani Exchange. Some are fine but some have gone badly out of shape after only a couple of washes. Very disappointing considering the price.

There are stores which sell 501s for S$100!!!
I could get those at TJ Max (US) for US$28.

Where do you get them?

He gets them from the US.

I bought Levi's once in SG but I did when they had that exchange your old jeans for 50 bucks off + 50 bucks voucher promotion they have around Christmas time. I had some old pairs I needed to get rid of.

Yep, I order from American Jeans. Less than $50 USD/pair. Still cheaper than buying here even with shipping and they actually fit. The Levi's sold in Asia are made in the 'peens and China and they all fit like a cheap hotel.
