Doctor (GP) Recommendation?

Post by auskid » Wed, 25 Sep 2013 11:08 pm

Hi all, I've recently moved over from Australia and was hoping to get some recommendations for a good general doctor. One who takes the time to properly diagnose you etc. Anywhere near or between Raffles and Orchard would be best.

Cheers.

I can not recommend any specific one but IMC (International Medical Clinic) has a good running average.
They are in two locations, one in Camden Medical Center.

I can recommend Dr. Raj from Raffles Hospital, ex. NHS doctor from London.
He works weekends and nights too.

Dr Kit Lau on Tanjong Katong Road is a good doctor who takes the time to listen and help.

Dr David Lim - North East Medical at Raffles Place, next to Royal Bros Bldg. I've been going to him for more than 10 yrs, he has the old country doctor manner but with a very good sense of humour. I've never heard a doctor laugh so much, it is quite infectious (pun intended). My entire staff all go to see him - there is a panel of about 50 doctors on our insurance plan so that says something about his doctor-patient manner.

He is starting to semi-retire so only works ~3 days a week, there is a younger guy on the off days. Call to find out his schedule if you are interested to see him.
