Haven't been up there for a while and don't want to make a wasted trip.
I was there two Fridays ago and yes it was still up and running. Forgot to ask them about the closing.
Well it won't be a wasted trip, you can always go to Down Under Bar or Hard Rock nearby if you find Muddy closed .
Worth the risk then, thanks
The Down Under Bar I know is in the Towers and is now a hostess bar. Are we talking about the same one?

No idea. I haven't been there before. Despite of claims that it is the cleanest bar among the bunch in OT (being true Aussie bar, etc), I still have not worked my courage to venture in.
Someone mentioned Roo Bar at Orchard Hotel nearby. Another place to consider.

Same place then. I had heard that so was pretty disappointed to find that it’s now a hostess bar which doesn’t even serve Aussie beer. The 10 girls that jumped on my lap was the giveaway – Aussies are friendly but not that friendly

AFTER 17 years of operations at Orchard Hotel Shopping Arcade, Singapore’s iconic Irish pub, Muddy Murphy’s, will be relocating to TripleOne Somerset.
The move comes after landlord CDL Hospitality Reit announced an extensive redevelopment of its current premises.
The pub’s last day of business would be November 3, 2013.
Design and construction are underway at its new ground floor location at TripleOne Somerset, where the traditional Irish cottage theme would be preserved.

Sigh
Day 10 of giving up smoking
Which means also completely giving up alcohol. If I have a drink or two I know I will buy a packet of fags
So no favorite bar
Sigh.................................

I hasn't been a 'clean' bar for a while .. though if a group drops by - i.e. girls and boys, then the mob doesn't go near the visitors ..
And when 10 girls jumped, were they Aussie Chicks ?? ooopsssss
