Favourite Softdrink?

Post by PNGMK » Tue, 17 Sep 2013 12:07 pm

My favourite is the San Pellgrino "Chinotto" - it's a sour sweet citrus flavour not unlike Coke (but with a lot less sugar - in fact I suspect the inventor of coke used the same fruit flavour as his base). My wife calls it carbonated cough syrup but she's an American so has a permanently damaged set of taste buds I suspect.

Like all good things it's hard to find in Singapore - cold storage have it sometimes. The other flavours in the range are also nice. In Australia there are a lot of cafes that sell it - nothing beats one in a tall glass of ice on a hot summer day.

Mine used to be the regular coke upto about a month ago. But now I find myself picking up the Yeo's Soy milk, whenever I have to choose.

Any cold sparkling water for me, as long as it comes in a glass bottle. Plastic makes it taste worse.

I think I'm hankering for Cherry Coke or Dr. Pepper at the moment...

This is "soft"... compared to whisky, anyway.

I tried Kilkenny once. Didnt like the taste at all and to make things worse, the 500ml can actually has only 400ml in it and they have filled that 100ml space with a white plastic ball :o
