I've managed only 16 but over 60 years! But all those on the list that I have read were read before the age of 40. :(

I did a search for the books that I have read so far and there were none.
These are the books I have read.
Tom Sawyer
Huckleberry Finn
Moby Dick
Robinson Crusoe
Famous Five
Nancy Drew
Secret Seven

Have to say though, that I read all those before the age of 15 and then just stopped. Damn! :x

I believe 75% of this was in the primary and secondary school. I made some attempts to read (with limited success) the classics but it was never my sort of thing.

H Harrison
R Sheckly
U Le Guin
P Dick
S Lem
S Mrozek
Topor
I Assimov

and many more, mostly from the area of F&SF.
Before the Internet killed everything.

I've read 8 of them, if you had told me 8 years ago, I would have done the lot before 30.

Oh, yes. I remember reading one more book as a teen, which surely has to be the best book I have ever read. One thousand and one arabian nights :)

Rightfully so, if 1Q84 is indicative of his other works. (The only book of his I've read or plan to read, now that I've finished it)
