Too Short (length) bed/matress in Singapore ? no EU/US size?

Post by cyberceline » Fri, 30 Aug 2013 11:21 am

Hi all,

bought a nice queen size bed and a great mattress, all good sofar, has been delivered and was now sleeping on it for a week. the only thing which bothers me is the length. In europe (Germany) I never bothered about the length of a bed, since this is pretty standard, either 200cm or 220 cm. But in my case now i figured out that the mattress is ONLY 190cm long. I am 186cm - not very tall for a european but also not short, would say average but this is really causing an issue as my feat usually exceed the bed at the end.

Did you guys also notice the smaller bed sizes here in singapore ? is 190cm for a matress usual or did I just got in contact with the wrong bed/matress dealer. Matress is from KingKoil.

Cheers cyberceline.

You can get Euro length here, or king long as they call it. US king is very difficult to find. Most mattress shops will sell or have them on order - not with every brand, but with some of them.

YES!!

I have had to make do by sleeping at the diagonal portion of the queen size mattress.

BUT THANK YOU! I knew it wasn't just me
