What to do over the long weekend when staying in Singapore?

What are you guys doing over the long weekend. Is there any special events, nice exhibitions or other things you can recommend?

I am not really interested in partying/clubbing or going to parks as they will be crowded no end and the same goes for the National Day Parade.....

Any hidden gems out there?

Mummy exhibition

I think there's a "Mummy: Secrets of the Tomb" exhibition at MBS currently.

You can probably check out the ticketing prices on MBS website.

Mummy wasn't really worth it...

Check out the rest of the museums. I had a blast in National Museum last month, where they had free entry for Lichtenstein Exhibit as well as the Singapore History Exhibit.

I especially liked the "Personal Path" as they gave really convincing (or maybe they were real people?) voice acting in their version of history from their perspective. 3 hours wasn't enough to hear everything.
My thread...The Weekenders If you need my e-mail address, it's in the first post of the thread.
