throw away laptop running windows???
does anyone have a throw away laptop running an older version of windows? It can be a real junker. I only have a Mac and once in awhile I need to use some software that requires Windows. Willing to trade 3 'full length' Ikea mirrors and a small bookshelf. Help please!!

An alternative would be to run a virtual machine. You gotta know what you're doing though.

There are probably some Ah Beng shops selling such computers too (google to find out). Watch out for exploitative prices though.

I have an ASUS laptop from 2007 with Windows XP, not in use for about a year now. It is running fine, though obviously significant signs of use. The hinge is also somewhat broken, so I wouldn't open/close much, and if so only very carefully.
No interest in the IKEA mirrors and bookshelf though, mostly because I don't have space to put that anywhere; might have to be cash.
PM me if that's something you'd consider.
