I haven't personally done the math and have no interest in doing it, but I imagine investing in Detroit shouldn't stop because of the bankruptcy if there is to be any hope of turning the city around.

As a layperson, it is hard for me to imagine that any normal person will have the dough to visit the stadium for the games, food and other entertainment provided at that stadium, once it is up and running.

Sure, the stadium will generate good potential revenue but how sure is that?

The "franchise" system in US sports looks like it gives the popular teams a lot of leverage with the City Authority where they are based.

They will just up sticks and go somewhere that will build them a stadium...
Life is short, paddle harder!!
