Preschools in Pandan Valley Area

Post by gok » Wed, 24 Jul 2013 10:46 pm

Hi there,

We have just arrived in Singapore and our daughter will start in Nexus International School in August. We are hoping to live in the Mount Sinai/Pandan Valley area.
I have noticed that there are three preschools in the Pandan Valley condo. I am looking for a centre that can take my younger child on a two/three morning a week basis. She is almost three now and will stay there for the next two academic years so I would like somewhere that can cater for children up to 4 1/2 at least. Does anyone have any feedback on the centres in Pandan Valley or could you recommend some other preschool within the area that might be good.
I am looking for someplace warm and caring where children can have fun and learn through play. I don't want something highly structured at this stage for her.

Many thanks

If you go to the top of Ulu Pandan and turn right there is a big sign that says Sunset and next to that a montessori. Can't tell you if it's any good but I think it's a less structured learning through play philosophy.

Both my daughters attended Zesty Spot at Pandan Valley condo. They loved their time there and still have fond memories of all the staff.
There is a good mix of local and Expat children attending. Lots of play, singing and movement, gym time, Mandarin and other exciting activities.
Definitely worth a look in my opinion!
